Hey! I’m Rachel – the face, hands, and heart behind Rachel’s Bakes 🧁✨

Baking has been part of my life since I was little – my mum always had me in the kitchen, covered in flour and sneaking spoonfuls of cake mix (some things never change 😋). Fast forward a few years, she’s now one of my toughest critics… but also my biggest fan! 💕

In my 20s, I baked for fun – birthdays, little celebrations for friends and family. But everything changed in my 30s. I was newly married, a mum of one, and juggling the chaos of returning to work after maternity leave. Life felt overwhelming – and baking became my little escape. My happy place. 🎂

So, I took the leap – left behind 13 years of working for the NHS (scary but exciting!) and turned my passion into a full-time business. I’ve never looked back 🥹💖

Now I get to do what I love every single day – creating cakes, cupcakes, and sweet treats that bring smiles to your faces and joy to your celebrations. I’m fully insured, have a 5⭐️ food hygiene rating, and hold a Level 2 certificate in Food Safety & Hygiene, so you’re in very safe (and very sweet) hands 👩‍🍳✨
